I am new to creating web pages (don't know anything), but your site has made creating my home page very easy.  Now I would like to add another page but need a little direction.  I have created a family history photo album in power point that I showed at the reunion as a slideshow (26 pages of photos).  I have saved it as a single web page in powerpoint and I would like to add it to my site.  I'm just not sure what to do next and I don't want to mess up what I have already done.  There are a lot of people getting on the site since the reunion this weekend.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am surprised I have not received any reply.  Usually replies are made so quickly.  I am anxious to convert this powerpoint presentation to a web page that can be added to my site.  Can anyone help me?

I apologize for the delay. This depends on how the web page is formatted. Open the web page that the powerpoint created. Then, copy the HTML code.

Afterwards, go to the member area and click "Website layout". Then, click Design your own page. Add a page and paste the code from the powerpoint web page.

Ok, I need more help.  As I said, I don't know anything about creating web pages, that is why I have been so pleased at how simple you have made creating a family website.

I went into power point and saved my presentation as a single web page (based on a microsoft tutorial).  When I open that it takes me to this web page mhtml:file://C:\Documents%20and%20Settings\Owner\My%20Documents\Reunion%20Info\Family%20History%20Photo%20Album.mht!FamilyHistoryPhotoAlbum_files/frame.htm

In website layout, create your own page I pasted this into the text area and saved as a link.  This didn't seem to work.  I clicked on html code and then saved what it added to this web address and saved.  That didn't seem to work either.  I clicked on paste code and pasted this in that area and clicked save.  The link shows on the left to the family history album, but when you click on it, all that shows up on the page is this code at the top.

I have left it there if you need to see what I have done.

Does this method actually add the slide show to the web for anyone to see as it appears to?

Is there a better/eaiser way to add a power point slide show so the family can click on it and view it.

Thanks for helping.  I need web pages for dummies:)

By the way,  when I go to the webpage that was created it always ask to unblock and has the outline to the side as well that needs to be closed and it takes a while to load of course.

I really would like to add the powerpoint to a page on your site and not have this other one out there if possible.

I understand. It appears that the web page the powerpoint is building is a little too complex for the page.

You will have to upload the entire powerpoint in the Files and music section. And then have everyone download it if they want to see it.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Ok, I have already done that.  I was just trying to get it where they could access it on the webpage.

Is there a way to show a power point slideshow like everyone sends in emails all the time?  I was wondering if I created it like that instead of web page if it would work.

Unfortunately, there is no way that I know of to handle something like this. I apologize for the inconvenience.
