I've always believed in angels among us, especially when we need them most.

That said, I remember reading a science piece about how humans have something in their brain's makeup that leans towards seeing human form in inanimate objects when it's not there, like faces in rock formations. So while I'm not entirely convinced by the picture that it's not a flare as suggested, if it were to turn out to be a hoax of some kind, it wouldn't shake my belief in angels amongst us.

But I'd like it to be real. :)

I don't know if I believe in "angels" in the context of them being messengers from god, or anything along those lines.  I do believe that the people who we are close to still watch over us and protect us from beyond the grave.

I feel the same way Kay.  I don't know if this was an angel, but soemone was watching over her.

My little cousin was driving from UConn to newport, RI the other, to her garndmother's funeral and she was in a bad car accident.  Her car was totalled.  The police on the scene nearly arrested her because she kept saying she was the driver and they didn't believe her.  She escaped with only two small bruises.  The police said the driver would have been killed.

Now I don't if her meme was with her or not, but it sure seems that way!

Yep, I'd believe that she was. I think there's too many incidents that are unexplained for us not to feel someone is, whether it's angels or departed family. No one will ever convince me otherwise. :)

yeah, it wwas really something!  I think even if there one thing that goes unexplained than there has to be answer that we can't understand.  It's easy to dismiss things that don't have immediate clarity, but I try to keep an open mind.

Me too, OhAngel. Was there anything in particular that happened that makes you believe? I'm always interested in angel stories. :)

Funny you should ask!  Last night I couldn't sleep so I went down to the couch.  I turned my back to the living room area and had the overwelming feeling that someone was watching me.  I was curled up and I wanted to straighten my legs but also felt I couldn't...felt like maybe someone was there.  I didn't take any sleep aids or anything and was perfectly a-ok in my head!  Lol

When I fell asleep I dreamed of this bubble floating in the living room.  It floated at me and was silver and red.  Am I losing it?  Has the ant spray gotten to me?????

I told you to quit inhaling that stuff, Christine.

I know white orbs can be associated with spirit visits but the color intrigues me, hmm. According to dream interpretation, silver is regarded as a color representing intuitive guidance and protection while red can be a warning sign. I would interpret that as a sign that you should listen to your intuition on something that doesn't feel right to you, despite what you're being told or reading. Go with your gut as it were and if whatever it is gives you a nagging negative feeling, distance yourself from it.

Do tell, I somehow overlooked this. I just realized this post is a few months back so it might be hard to pinpoint anything around that time you could relate that to. Ah well better late than never. :)

I had an interesting dream the other night ...

I often dream about my grandparents, but never actually SEE them.  the other night (in my dream) I walked into a room with my parents and my grandfather.  In my dream I knew he was dead, and we were all excited because we could SEE him.  I told him he needed to make himself seen to my brother, who has had a difficult time with his passing for the 16 years he has been gone.  my grandfather told me he is working on it, but my brother isn't open to it yet.

anyway, I told my brother to keep an open eye, and an open mind.  the dream was abnormal for me on so many levels, I had to take it as a sign :)

Yep, getting the old chills and hair standing on end here too diane reading that. That was a message dream for sure. Will your brother be open to it do you think? Please tell him too that if he'd rather see his grandpa in his dreams, he just needs to make that known. I have a feeling he already has though and if not will very soon. That can be easier on people that are a little wary.

I hope he is open to it, he says he wants to see him, and he cried when I told him about the dream, but I wonder if he puts TOO much importance on it?  my brother and grandpa were very close and my brother took his death very hard.

my niece, who is 2, has seen her grandpa twice since he passed in June. I think its awesome and wish I could see my grandparents in daylight - lol!

Aww, bless him. Your niece is a perfect example of how much easier it is to make contact when you have no expectations of it and don't try too hard. She's so young she doesn't obviously so it comes naturally to her.

I think it's like meditation. When you try too hard you get frustrated when nothing seems to be happening but the key is to relax, clear your mind, find some quiet space and go with the flow. The reason why so much comes to us when we dream or are at that in-between state of sleeping and wakefulness is that our mind is at its most open and uncluttered. We're at a different level of consciousness than when we're fully awake. When he's ready it will happen but not before.
