Miscarriage can be a traumatic event in the life of any woman. Also referred to as spontaneous abortion, miscarriage is the end or premature termination of pregnancy in which the fetus is not developed enough to survive.

I just want to thank you for this Article. I jus recently suffered a Miscarriage and is having difficulty processing it. My husband is getting Frustrated with me and not able to understand why this hurt so bad.

I just delivered my 12w 6d baby at home on 02/20. I am an ED RN. I have seen mc at work, did not want that care. Easier to deal with at home. I passed my bb in the gestational sac. My dh handled the bb as I couldn't. I knew that the bb passed 2 wks ago. I am a mom of 4 and was surprised of this preg as my baby was 5 months when the test was pos. Sorry for your loss. No one understands, not carrying the baby you cant, they can just feel sorry or sympathisize. Hurts alot. You will make it through. So will Isister in faith

I delivered my 17 weeek baby at home and compleated the delevery at the hospital. My Dreams were taken away from me at that moment. 4 months later we were pregnant again just to start bleeding all over again. At 7 weeks I found out that the heart that started to beat at 6 weeks was no longer beating. I had a d&c. I just thank god for my 4 year old son that I do have. As for a new baby, I lost all hope and faith. Why did god do this to me, my son & husband?

This month (September) would have been my delivery month but sadly my baby was taken from me to be my angel at only 6weeks. I still feel the pain and can not bare seeing a new born. Nothing takes away the void in my tummy I still feel, the thought of that I could have been a mother. I truly miss my Angel

i went into hospital on 28/12/11 suffering with severe abominal and back pains and bleedin got kept in over night then on 29/11/10 went down for a scan to check if the babys ok i was ment to be 11wks 3days they couldnt do a normal scan because my womb was tilted so then did an internal and the sac and baby was there but no fetal heart found i was so heartbroken and felt numb later wen on the ward the doctor discused my options as they had to get my baby out i could either have a d&c...tablets or go home with painkillers and let nature take its course, so i chose to go home as i was missing my 1year old little boy,that night had bleedin n pain but felt generally okay then when i awoke in the mornin was in agony... i am going thow a miscarriage as i type i have miscarriaged before but i had i healthy baby girl age 9 months it hurts so much and i wish for no one too go thow what im going thow it hurts
