I was just thinking there about how up in the air we all seem to be right now. Do you have any constants in life you can count on to be the same all the time? My parents are mine.

lately, the only constant in my life is housework! lol my dad is still not recovering well from his surgery, my mom is working hard at being his constant and needs some place to vent (which was with me before my surgery and now I think she bottles it all in) ... my husband and kids are doing pretty well with my surgery but they are still taking it easy on me.
I actually look forward to housework sometimes though. I can get lost in a project or in cleaning and it's kinda nice.

I hear where you're coming from. Sometimes I need to do something mundane just to give my mind a rest and let it clear a little.
Sorry to hear that your dad's not too grand, diane. Geesh, it's not been his year has it between work and needing surgery. Hope you all find some kind of peacefulness.

thanks, Kay, no it has not been a great year for him. I am hoping he gets some answers this week from the doctors though. I am ready to jump on the doctors for their lack of concern.

Did you get any word from the docs this week diane? I was thinking about you guys earlier.
