When I was small we were taught to always do this but it appears to be a dying trend. Do you still practice it in your home?

It is certainly a lost art these days. At least for me, I receive more and more family photo cards around the holidays and not much after. Especially with technology these days, many people see e-mails as thank you cards for families or after interviews. It's still a nice gesture to receive snail mail I think!
