I'm wanting to drink more myself because it's one thing I know I should have more of in my diet. Apart from Nesquik milkshakes, any more ideas on what's good to make apart from plain old milk would be helpful.

I am NOT a milk fan at all, but given the benefits I do try to sneak it in. The only ways I have found that help, without making me gag ot in a smoothie or in cereal. Although some chocolate milk is yummy too!

I used to love chocolate milk too. :) I eat a lot of cereal and wasn't really thinking about how that counts too. I like oatmeal made with milk. It tastes horrible to me when it's made with water. I grew up with the milk version.

we don't drink much milk in our home, but when we do it's organic.  all the hormones and stuff - YUCK!

I personally can't drink milk because I'm allergic, but since I am on birth control and my thyroid is gone, I have had to take daily calcium supplements.  I take one every night before bed, it's supposed to help you sleep better.  I try to take one with a multivitamin during the day, but I don't always remember.  I eat a lot of cheese and yogurt tho.

MMM, cheese! I got calcium covered with that!!

I like oatmeal with milk too. Water is GROSS! I like McCann's Irish Oatmeal the best. It takes a little longer but it's worth it!

me too, Christine!  I love cheese - when I was pregnant with the oldest, I ate cheese dipped in sour cream.

Oh now that is amazing! My two faves!!! To be a little better I've been skipping the crackers. I don't like them anyways, I just like the cheese.

I ate a pound of liver pate almost entirely by myself the other week, just me and a box of crackers LOL. I even stashed it towards the back of the fridge so the boy would forget about it, ha! Didn't need to worry about hubby, he won't even try it.

The kids hate milk at 8. They only enjoy it as babies.
