I'm glad to say I've not been bothered with this but an old friend of mine suffered terribly month after month and had a very unsympathetic doctor. She eventually changed doctors. quote:
WASHINGTON - Federal health officials have approved a new drug as the first non-hormonal treatment for heavy menstrual bleeding. The Food and Drug Administration says Lysteda tablets reduce bleeding by acting on a protein that helps blood clot. The drug is made by Newport, Ky.-based Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals. Full story

Wow, I go to the Dr's tomorrow (again) (((sigh))) I'm going to ask about this! Mine are awful!

You should! If it's really bad it can make you anemic and that might account for some of the symptoms you've been having like the tiredness.

I had them, and went on depo provera for 5 years and then switched to an IUD for the last 4 and a half. it sounds interesting, but this is working for me and I am afraid to switch! lol
