Hi,
I've set up e-mail accounts on our site with account names and passwords. I am trying to send/receive email with the new accounts through the website but without much success. Am I missing a step?

1) Go to Security area and then create account
2) Add account name and password, then press submit
3) Go to email box and setup accounts
4) enter POP3 which is our website domain
5) enter account name and password and press save

I keep getting a login failure.

I need to send emails to individuals using our domain email account.

Thanks very much for your help. I really like the family lobby websites, they are so easy to use.

Thank you for the compliment. What error are you receiving?

Please send an email to sales and someone can give you a call about the problem.

I'm receiving the error: Login failed! We have one account setup that we use. But I noticed we can have up to 20 email accounts. We are in the middle of a project and I wanted to email distribution list with an email account from our website.

www.pinkphurree.org

What is the email for sales?

Thanks!

sales @ support.com

I recommend trying to connect from Outlook Express or Microsoft Mail and see if you receive an error.

I am having a similar problem.  My browser doesn't support outlook express so I don't know how to connect somewhere else to see if I receive error.  I've tried to setup 14 accounts but I don't receive any kind of confirmation after I've submitted my desired account names and passwords, so I'm not sure I even did it properly.  I would appreciate any assistance you can give me with this matter.

When I go to "setup accounts" I enter the information that I created for my new email address and It says Login Failed after I navigate back to see my emailbox.

I could be entering the information wrong.  Maybe you could point me in the right direction by telling me exactly what I should type in the POP3 field.   Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!

Please email support with your domain and the error you are having. They will have to look into this.

Hello LH,

Once you verify with Family Lobby Customer Support that the accounts are active, you may want to use a web based email program like google (gmail) or hotmail to setup your accounts.

For our project I added our Family Lobby website email account as to google mail with the website's domain as the smtp and pop3 server, along with the email account name as user name and password as password.  I've added the account to both Google Mail and Outlook 2010 (full version not client) applications.  this allows us to send emails on behalf of our Family Lobby accounts. In addition, I added Family Lobby logins for the Family Lobby email accounts in order to receive e-mails to these accounts from within Family Lobby. Hope this helps. Best Wishes. TARSHIA

Not Receiving E-mails Outside FamilyLobby Website - 10/3/2011 8:28:36 AM

Hi,
I've been using the e-mail accounts that I set up on Family Lobby website to send e-mail but have noticed recently that I am not receiving any e-mail to these accounts. It's weird: all family lobby site internal e-mail is receive from outside FamilyLobby to these accounts, only e-mail between one family lobby email account and another family lobby email account.

So,when an e-mail is sent from an outside account (like gmail or att.net or comcast, or any other domain), they are not received by the family lobby email account. Is there something I need to add to the SMTP server setup? I set up the family lobby email accounts in Outlook 2010 and Outlook recognizes both the POP3 and SMTP family lobby email accounts. I'm receiving the Test emails from Outlook account setup verifying the POP3 and SMTP servers, but no other emails that are outside of the family lobby website are received.

I have a tarshia@pinkphurree.org and a pinkphurree@pinkphurree.org family lobby email account that can send email to anyone; however, they are only receiving email that have been initiated from within the family lobby website. The puzzling part for me is the fact that Outlook 2010 Account Setup verifies both the POP3 and the SMTP options.
POP3: pinkphurree.org
SMTP: smtp.pinkphurree.org

A little direction would be most appreciated. I believe I've not been receiving emails from patrons that are helping us with a big fundraising event this month.

THANKS MUCH.

You are not receiving emails from your GMail email address to your familylobby email address?

If you do not receive an email that says "mail undeliverable" in your GMail account when you send to your familylobby email, then the emails should be in the familylobby mailbox. Can you check the junk e-mail folder in your Outlook?

The smtp.pinkphurree.org is not something we set up. I think that's what is happening. You set up your own domain. Since we did not register the domain for you, you have to work with the domain registrar to resolve the problem.

Hello,

I am still having same issues with our familylobby.com e-mail. As suggested in previous reply, I contacted the domain host and they removed MX records associated with the domain. For 1 day, the problem seemed resolved, I was receiving e-mail to the accounts setup on familylobby website. Currently, I'm receiving the error below whenever I attempt to send an e-mail to the created accounts. I checked the domain host service and the MX recordsd are still removed, so I figured maybe there is something I'm missing on the family lobby website side. I did send an e-mail to sales@familylobby.com as well. There are no problems when sending an email FROM the accounts created. I'm eager to get the the e-mail account component of our website working in time for an organizational meeting in two weeks so we can create e-mail accounts for organizational committee projects. So, any direction would be most appreciated. Merry Christmas, TDB

Unfortunately, we do not support domains which were set up by a third party. The domains must be managed in our servers internally. Since you registered the domain with the third party, you will need to create the email addresses on their systems. The domains cannot be easily shared.
