Help! My Family Tree Page is Not Showing UP - 2/5/2009 7:01:15 AM

I haven't gone on to my family tree section lately and just tried clicking on the family tree page yesterday and all I am seeing is a big white nothing! It shows a frame with nothing inside and a little icon in the top left hand corner. My family tree page is set to "delinked mode".
If I click on "linked" mode, it will show members names and their linked families, however, this doesn't help me much 'cause not all my family tree names are website members.
Any suggestions?? Thanks, Patty.

Yes, for some reason, I can't see the family tree page. Not sure if anyone else from my family group is having same problem. -Patty

Try clearing your cache. Then change to different trees. Please wait for a couple minutes for the tree to load.
To clear your cache, please follow these steps
Internet Explorer
1) Select Tools from the menu
2) Select Internet Options
3) Click Delete Files
Firefox
1) Select Tools from the menu
2) Select Clear Private Data
3) Check only the Cache checkbox
4) Click Clear Private Data

I fixed my problem by downloading and using the FIREFOX browser instead of Internet Explorer. -Pat

I am happy you have it working. But it should work in both browsers. I will have some research why it would show differently.

Can you elaborate on the exact issue that you are having Travy? Did you try clearing your cache.

I am having the exact same issue as the previous user. I had not accessed my family tree for several weeks, and now when I try -- all I see is a blank white rectangle where it should be with an icon in the upper left corner. I've cleared my cache, deleted cookies, temp files, etc. with no success. I've right and left clicked on the icon to try to display it, but it will not appear.

Please make sure you are going to the delinked view of the tree. If you continue to have problems, please go to adobe.com and download the latest flash component.
