Or is it not too bad where you are just now? I can't remember the last time we were under the mid 90's and with heat indexes under 100. No sign of rain either which is making me so grumpy. We're not even getting any relief overnight. I'm outside at 2am with the dogs and it's as stifling then as it is during the day.

Ugh, it's awful here too! We have one tiny AC in our living room and that's it...it can barely keep up. We got rain the last 2 nights, but I swear it just brought in MORE humidity. Gross.

Yuck, that must be hard. We have central AC so I can't complain in that respect apart from the fact I hear it running practically ALL the time. I dread to think what my next electricity bill will be like but what can you do? It would be more expensive if you ended up in hospital with heat exhaustion.
I'm giving up trying to keep the flowers alive. They are pitiful this year with this heat.

Ugh, mine too. We didn't get one single strawberry. Poor lil plant. Oh well, maybe next year.

My Roma's are miraculously still growing but nearly everything else is burned up. We're making record highs with 104 today and a heat index of 114.

Famous last words. We had high winds the other night and they blew down the Roma's which was in an upside down planter, breaking the plant in half. I was so disappointed I could have cried. Then last night our electricity went off for 6 hours. What a rotten week it's been.

We're cold here in New England. It's has poured since Saturday night and it's only in the 60's. Is Fall here already??
