Many, many states will be disrupted with power outages and damage due to this event. Is Irene coming close to you? We're out of its path here in AR unless it makes an unexpected turn. Stay safe, everybody, and batten down the hatches.

Sad to see deaths being attributed to this already with six in Virginia. Why surfers think a big wave is worth risking their lives for I'll never know.
