I craved boiled penuts with my first one (which is probably why I came down with Toxemia) and with my second one I creaved QTR pounder with Cheese. With my third one I didn't crave much of anything.

ORIGINAL: dianerene with my oldest, I craved cheddar cheese and sour cream. I would cut chunks of cheddar and dip it in sour cream -lol. with the other one, I craved milk ... which isn't an odd craving for most, but I am allergic to milk, so for me it was VERY ODD. and it doesn't help that I find the simple smell of milk absolutely repulsive. but I am a believer that your body craves something for a reason, so I drank it and wasn't sick from it. apparently the baby needed it! although, I was left with calcium kidney stones that I still pay for That is strange! So do you mean you didn't have the allergic reaction at all during the pregnancy or did you have to take something to control that?

It's funny how pregnancies can be so different, isn't it!

ORIGINAL: dianerene no, Kay ... I had no issues with the milk as long as I craved it. As soon as the craving went away, I had reactions to it. It's amazing how much pregnancy affects our body. I had a friend that started growing blond, really fine, baby like curls around her hairline. It was so strange. :)

Ah I've heard of that but never knew anyone that suffered it. Isn't it something to do with one of them being Rhesus negative and the other positive? I could be wrong. When my mum had my brother, she developed this small dark spot on the white of her eye during pregnancy and in thirty years it's never went away. Doesn't give her any problems though.
