Man. I have got to be honest. I wasn't too thrilled when my fiance asked if I would like to accompany he and his mother to see this. I just was not impressed with the commercials I'd seen on tv.

My oh My was I surprised. I absolutley loved this movie. For me the only thing that could have made it better was to see it at an Imax theatre.

I love little twists and also how the characters were introduced. Being able to see how the crew came to be was a great move by the director and script writer.

I've never forgiven them for retiring Captain Kirk in Star Trek and starting all the new versions of the series. :) Sorry I missed your post before, Latonya. I wouldn't mind seeing that actually. I'm not a great fan but enjoyed the movies I've seen more than I ever thought I would. :)
