J Brian Wright -> troubled teens (6/24/2009 3:24:31 PM)

My wife and I have fostered 75 juvenile delinquents and teens with very serious mental health problems.  We have also worked at a group home for teens for12 yrs. with neglected and abused children.  I am looking to set up a membership site and would be interested to hear what information would be helpful and what are the main issues as you see them.  Your input will help me decide which issues to deal with.  I have a 4 yr. degree in counseling but you need a master's to call your self a counselor.  So, I am giving advice based on education and a whole lot of experience.  Again, your input will help me to be of help to this community.  thanks

Do an online research to find some places or organizations that have programs to help troubled teens or adults, read the information about them and you can find tips there or you can directly them and ask.

Welcome to Family Lobby.com, J Brian Wright. :)

Are you wanting to share information that's helpful solely to the teens or to their families too? I think a list of crisis hotlines or chatrooms where they can get immediate assistance if necessary would be a good place to start.
