Hmmm.....well like my mother used to say:  "Life is not boring, people are boring."

No offense Leah but although these things are boring to you, it's life, not always a rollercoaster ride at Six Flags, but you have to make the best of things.

And, btw, I rarely consider myself an adult.

I'm an adult, and I agree that teenagers would not be interested in these kinds of activities. There are loads of activities for teenagers, not for free but can be loads of fun. For example I found this website and thought it was a great idea and a day out for the whole family: http://www.driverskills.com/driving-courses/junior-driver-lessons.html

Hi Alex, while some of that are not "fun" per se, they are helpful and should be done by teenagers. I guess that's more what I was saying. Adding a tiny bit of challenge is a win / win situation.

Day trips are fun for sure, but I was trying to come up with something that accomplishes something, other than texts, video games etc. That's all.

Hey build a fort! make a castle out of popsicle sticks! do a puzzle! Go in front of a friends house in your neighborhood and write a message in mustard in the street to them! There are lots of things

teens need living skills so when they go to college they dont call you to much, like learning to prepare simple foods on a electric stove . how to shop for clothes items etc. almost everything is recyclable . teach them to to make things out of want they have . you dont need lots of clothes basic are good enough ,they say less is best enjoy your teenage years because after 21 the bills are yours !
