I once heard my friend tell me it was possible to train rabbits to use the litter box? If that's true then I think it's much better than keeping them in a cage all the time.

Yes, they can. That is true! I knew a girl that had a house rabbit and it was the sweetest thing you ever saw. It used a litter box.

GIRLS, GIRLS!! YOUR MOM DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW RABBITS CAN USE LITTERBOXES!!!   hehe.
Yeah, but remind them they would need to be the ones to clean it out.

Sandy, here's a video on how to do it. It only takes about a week to train them apparently and you use the pelleted cat litter for them, not the clumping kind.
