I would like to post video clips and music from my computer to our family website.  The feature seems to be expecting a URL.  But, what I want to post is on my computer.  How do I put video and music from my computer to our website?

Thank you in advance.

You can upload videos to the file downloads section. Users can then go to the Files/Videos/Music section and click "Play" to look at the video. Administrators can click "Add to homepage" to let others view it when they go to the homepage. You can also embed the videos into News posts and "What's New" by clicking the "Picture/Web files" button and select the video in the "File downloads" tab.

I tried uploading.  It appeared to be uploading for a few minutes.  However, the file never actually uploaded.

Did you remain on the upload page or did it send you back to the list with the upload completed? If the file is large, it may take up 20 minutes to upload.

What is the size of the file? I recommend resizing the video to reduce any problems.

I had similar issues but they were all uploaded (on a paid account).  Unfortunately, I think people are expecting more than they are willing to pay for.

What paid account?  The one I already pay for on this site?  Not sure how your comment enlightened me.  Please elaborate?  Was your intention to offer help and I just didn't see the help in your post?  Sorry I missed it.  I'd love to learn more.

I have uploaded a video file and it played once but when i go back in to view it again i get a message that states "video not found: http://myspace.familylobby.com/FAM150860
What can i do to resolve this issue. I have attempted to remove it and re-upload unfortunately it does the same thing. The video is a 232K size video.

Hello,

I did not see the file you a referring to. I recommend making sure there are no spaces in the name when you upload it.
