Hello all. I live in Florida, but am from Ohio originally. I grew up with lots of family members in the same area (mostly in Indiana, but we lived 3 miles from the IN/OH line). We were close.

Then mobility hit my generation...and we've spread out. Now, my generation is almost the oldest generation...we have just a handful left of the oldest. I was talking to a cousin in Indiana when out of my mouth popped, "We need a family website." After the phone conversation, I did a google search and found familylobby.

I set up the site last night and uploaded a few pics. I have two cousins already signed up and they'll help spread the word.

I'm sure I'll be to this forum to get some answers as I don't think the software is very intuitive. (I'm a former technical writer who worked in the software industry so I'm a bit more critical, I think).

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. Thanks for having a forum!!!

That's the way of modern life for sure. With my family they are all over the globe. Thank goodness for the internet! Sounds like an interesting job you did, Linda. The founder of Family Lobby, Brenda Cannon, was a Microsoft engineer. :)
