man, my schedule has been so out of whack these last few weeks.  I thought for sure I posted results since my battery issue, but I don't see them

Start Weight: 156
Today's Weight: 156.3

since I am not seeing where I thought I post lasted week, I was up to 159 so this week I lost almost 3 pounds, but it's an over all gain of .3.  regardless, I am feeling good because the motivation is back.

Goal Weight: 140

Focus on the three pound loss! That's fantastic, good for you achieving that in a week!

I think feeling good and motivated makes all the difference. I've been pretty blah myself the last week or so. I clean forgot about posting that on Friday even though I'd weighed myself that day, so how about we help each other remember? If I've not posted it by Sat, remind me and if you haven't, I'll remind you. It's easy to get caught up in other things.

Christine, I like the sound of your nutritionist! And remember folks, anyone that wants to join in with us is welcome to do so at any time for however long they want to. You don't even need to post your current weight if you don't want to. It's all about helping support each other on good weeks and not so good ones.

thanks, Kay.  I'm still ready to blame the medication for the difficulty in dropping the weight.  I walked 6 miles on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of last week which helped to lose the weight.  but come the weekend, when I am too focused on family time, I gained half of it back ... so this is all coming off because of that walking.  it's frustrating :(

At least you've got a reason for it, diane! I don't. And six miles three times in a single week should have for sure done more than that. I think you're being too tough on yourself. Chill and it'll happen. It doesn't go on overnight and doesn't come off overnight either. Would it be worth asking your doctor about the meds? It's taken you so long to get them balanced that I don't see the advantage in changing them for the sake of your weight but he may have a suggestion.

Ouch indeed. Progress is progress! Congrats to you! I'm paying for my sloth this week. I'm still getting over this kidney infection but am better thanks. Which of course meant I felt like eating all the wrong stuff. I'm a pound up.

Start Weight (Jan 10) : 177.
Today's Weight: 172

Loss/Gain this week:   +1

Overall Gain/Loss :   - 5

Goal Weight: 130.

Mood: not surprised but disappointed in myself for having zero willpower. At this rate it will take forever if I keep lapsing.

it's hard when you aren't feeling well.  it is my downfall too - I turn to comfort foods to take away sickness, headaches, whatever - lol

Yep, I'm just as guilty of that. Any excuse and I'll do it LOL. But then at least I guess it's a good thing that I can see my failings. If I ignored them, it would be tougher to correct them.

Yes, you can't manage what you measure.  That's the quote I live by!  It stinks sometimes though, especially when not feeling well is a factor.  Seems to be a vicious circle sometimes.

I agreed to coach AJ in soccer this Fall!  Here comes my exercise fast and furious!

oh how fun, Christine!! I can't coach, but I love to watch Steve coaching the girls :)  lol  I have ZERO patience for the stuff he puts ups with.  it's so much fun - I have pics of the girls - they are playing spring ball right now ... ***I apologize for the size, I have tried to make them smaller but I lack the knowledge, apparently - lol

this one is Roxie playing U10 Spring Select

and this one is Falyse playing U6 Extended Season

They look like a couple of pros in the making for sure!  I was always rubbish with a soccer ball. I couldn't kick it hard enough and I couldn't stop it fast enough. That's why I played hockey LOL.

hockey is not a whimpy sport!
thanks, Kay.  I'm biased and proud   they play hard, so it's all good. I need to get some pics of the oldest when her season starts again.  I feel like I miss so much when I am taking pictures at a game, so I avoid it as much as possible - lol

Start Weight: 156

Last Week: 155.5

Today's Weight: 153.8

Total lost: 2.2

walked every morning this week and I am starting to incorporate some arm exercises with my walk.  I did some yesterday and started to do more today, but my shoulder was bugging me ... I think it will be an every other day deal.  I want to be able to keep walking this weekend since the 2 days off makes my legs hurt come monday morning, but we are expecting a big storm to come thru ... grrr.

the good news is, the weight is slowly coming off and my jeans feel pretty good today :)

I feel a lot better too after being out in it. We were almost at 70 would you believe! I was out in the garden emptying out all my old plant pots and fussing around so they're all ready for the new annuals when they come in.

Ha! I will be using that line on my lovely husband when he comes in and see if he notices what I said. :)
