I am the mom of two small boys. I never pictured myself having more than one son. I always pictured myself with at least one girl and of course, a boy. I mean, so many people think the ideal family is one of each gender; I was no different. I assumed God would see it my way and bless me with a b

Congratulations to you, Chris. How old is the one you have? I'm waiting on my little brother's wife to have their new baby mid July. It's going to be a boy too.  They have a girl who's 3.

Thanks, I just found out that like you I'm expecting a second boy, and also last child, I do feel sad that I won't be doing the mother daughter thing but I guess the big guy has other plans for my little family. I was hoping to have the "perfect" family boy and girl, but I guess that my perception on the "perfect" family will change.

It was a beautiful read, just after I found out that my second child is also a boy. I really can't wait to meet my new little guy.

I was slightly sad and disappointed that this pregnancy was a boy instead of a girl as it is my last as well. I always expected one of each gender but like you say, god had other plans for this family too. I'm sure I'll get used to the joys of remaining queen in my castle. Great post! Thank you:). Little guy coming in 4 months and can't wait!

I have a little boy. I have 3 nieces and love them like they r my own kids. But I'm hoping 4 another boy. I love there mischievous nature. But my next baby will also be a gift from god no matter watever gender

We just found out that we are also expecting our second son. I am excited but nervous and your story touched my heart and let's me see all the positives of having two boys. I (very much a girlie girl) also thought we would have a boy and a girl. Although, this may not be our last child I am looking forward to my son having a brother and buddy for life! Thank you for sharing your story!
