Hi, I'm afraid this is now the third time I've had to post about the lack of email notifications to members when something is added to the website. I put a new posting in the News section yesterday and understand that members haven't had notification, again. The only odd thing that i can point to (although it may have nothing to do with it) is that, once i had posted i went back to the Homepage and it told me I had posted 11 hours previously! it had been about a minute. I have set the time zone correctly so don't know why it should have come up with 11 hours.
Can you please try and sort out the lack of email notifications as it is a very important aspect of the site for us. The strange time thiing could also do with sorting out, although it is less important, unless it is connected.

I apologize for the problems you are experiencing.
We checked the log files and saw the last notification that went out. It was for:
mountains! news posted ....
Did you or anyone received this today?

We have just had an email notification of a new picture posting, but not the last News posting-i hope you can get this sorted out

Further to my last post, although we got notification of the photo posting, we didn't get any notification of the latest news posting-a Weekend of Fun.

We will continue to investigate. Can you confirm that you are receiving photo notifications, but not news posts?
