Would you ever consider getting married online? I can see how it would work for people in the military or being separated, but if thats not that case, then don't be a flamer and just have a traditional wedding. I know I definitely won't do it online.  :-[

Thats one, there are a lot more.

My first question that sprung to mind was was it recognized legally, Gray, but I see at the bottom of the page there's a disclaimer to say the marriage certificates are not and it's for entertainment purposes only. I was wondering how it was feasible to prove you were actually the person getting married that you said you were, right enough!

I guess it's pretty romantic when you think about it...like a declaration of your love and commitment before you do the real thing. Might make engagement rings a thing of the past. :)

Hmm, I didn't see that. Thanks for pointing that out fiery. Wonder why they are becoming popular, if it isn't the real deal.

Probably because it's another way to say I love you. :) Think of how many people get together online these days and maybe can't physically be together at this point because of distance but still consider themselves a couple. I think it's a sweet idea. :)

But then I'm a girlie and can imagine all the guys saying "what is she on about?" LOL. Romance, guys, romance!!!

Hmmm, I wouldn't do it.  With my luck I'd be saying "I do" to Shrek or something!  ....even if it's not legal, it's still frightening.

Hi sanjay, nice to meet you. :) You could well be right but not all would be insincere I don't think. I guess it's one of those "proceed with caution" situations so no one gets their heart broken. As long as the person isn't duped into thinking it's legal, it's okay in my book. :)

If it could be done legally, I'd do it in a heartbeat!    If I was in the market to get married again that is.  LOL

I was married 22 years ago and there isn't a day that has gone by that I didn't wish hubby and I would have just eloped.

Lol!  I second that!! I would definitely NOT have the energy to plan such an extravaganza again, phew!  Talk about a total financial and emotional drain!

Well I reckon they should go the whole hog and make it a virtual drive through wedding too then, no messy ceremony or anything. "Groom to go" sounds catchy! Or you should be able to order one and if he's not at your door in 15 mins, you stay free. We all have busy lives, you know!

True, true! I'd only want a groom if he came with a 30 day money back guarantee.

LOL I don't know but I'd sure liked to have worked in that returns dept to see what checkbox was marked against them all as the reason!

Oh gee...I guess the internet is for everything these days. I guess I'm in the old fashioned camp. Some things just ought to be done in person!
