I think we should be allowed to have phones in school .cell phones in school? Well yes I think we phones in school for reasons? Secondly is because there could be a family issue. Thirdly is it keeps kids moms aware of things. Last, there could be am emergency. To start with, there could be a family issue. So some way to make sure everything is ok. Like what if someone in your family died or went to jail. So wouldn’t you want to find out when is happens? So what would do? Forty it will keep your mom or dad aware of things going on in your school. Because high school have a lot of gang violence going on. Even sometimes schools go on lock downs due to things that happened during school. Like there could have been a shooting happened during near school, so for kid’s safety just in case the school goes on lock. Your mom would need to know. So the kids could just call or text their parents and tell them what’s going on.

i think we should have cell phones in school because are panrents but we also can use them for cheating during school. plus we will be distracted also.

Oh, I live in South Korea. At Korean schools(at least mine), we are allowed to take our phones to school. However, the teachers take it away. Isn't this strange? So I cant call help when I dont have my book or something. I really wish that I can have my cell phone.... thnx.

Students shouldnt have cell phones because it is a distraction to other students if it rings or viberates!

I think that your all wrong! Your children are not going to be in danger during school. they can heave them after school so that if there is an issue then theyll have in. its not like someone is going to walk into your childrens school and ripe their colthes off. YOU DONT NEED YOUR PHONES IN SCHOOL!

I agree that we should have mobiles in school because I have often called my mum and changed my plans and I could call and tell her easily. Its not like there are phone boxes around anymore I only know of two places!

student should have cell phone just incase they are in trouble or the are going home and they do not know there way home lol but in this case they should have cell phone to get better grades on the homework or class work

I am a Middle School student but i think we should have electronics in class, with restrictions of course. Like we have to make sure the teacher can see them at all times, during test or when the teacher is talking they need to be at the corner of our desk, but at any other time i dont see why its a big deal. Also with the ipods same rules should apply except durign test we should be able to listen to it, most kids acually work better when listening to music that way they can focus better. Knwo what I'm saying?

I think we should have phones in school but have them turned off while we are learning but have them at lunch you can have them

I do not have a cellphone, but I think that if you do have one you should be allowed to take it to school because otherwise how will you contact your parents?

I think we should be allowed to have phones at school but have them on silent during class times, in case of an emergency and the office phones are not working.

Im in middle school and think that cellphones should be allowed, theres really no true harm and having a cellphone could really be a safty factor. my mom wont let me leave the house without a cellphone and in this case we should have them, school could really be a help. learning could be better then ever before and safe a lot of money at the school. if we are using them badly and not paying attention we should put them away and punished. any other time they could be a help. we should also have time with are phones to play and text before class therfore we wont play with them during class. its not a bad thing to have cellphones, its actually really interesting and fun! also lets not forget, learnful.

Actually, for those of you who say we're not in danger during school, that's not always the case. Don't you remeber Columbine? We should have cellphones for emergencies.
