This doesn't exactly fall into my "loose weight" plan for the summer, but when I say that this is the absolute best recipe ever (if you've got the time to do it), I kid you not! My very picky eater 13 y/o daughter and fiance will feast on this for days. It's from the Food Network. I would just recommend that you cut the salt, and definitely use a good quality Cabernet. Do not allow the Somlier of the wine store talk you into using a cheep wine, bc "it's just for cooking". This is an all day recipe with the sauce, but well worth it. Here is a link to the recipe. Also watch the video, it's very helpful. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/anne-burrell/pasta-bolognese-recipe/index.html

Mmmmm, sounds good Latonya! I love any kind of pasta dish. None of mine will touch anything that has alcohol in the recipe though. Any suggestions on a substitute?

Usually you can substitute chicken stock or beef stock for wine. I made Chicken Piccatta last night and used chicken stock instead of wine...it was YUMMY!!!
