A woman is not pregnant being on her own, if she’s living with a close man. As a rule, two partners are “pregnant”. How does this happen? We all know that close people living together have even similar thoughts, they become looking like each other, symptoms of their diseases are same, if one of them

"She is fulfilling her mission on this planet. She knows that this is her duty and responsibility – to become a mother. You know, maternity is a main life goal of every woman."Except for those of us with no maternal drive. I guess I should go off myself right now, since my "mission" in life is not to pop out mewling brats!

Refering to the same quote as RS, WOW. I am completely disgusted to hear anyone say that it is woman's "mission on this planet" to reproduce. Have we really not yet come that far? I am surprised that this article did not end in a blurb about woman's inferiority and their need to stay in the kitchen! This neivity makes me want to rip my hair out!

Thats silly if we were not installed with a drive to have offspring the race would have died out thousands of years ago. Yes there are anomolys or people who repress what their natural tendancys are but by nature we need to procreate and life will find a way. Is it so wrong to want to stay in the kitchen? If all options are open to us then why are you making fun of that one?

It is a woman's mission; to have babies. Men can't have babies! God ordained this in women. Now, it is not women's ONLY mission, but let's just say women were meant to have babies. Plain and simple...

wow, how did I miss this one?  lol

it is a woman's CHOICE to have a child.  it is not their job, or their mission.  we are capable of creating a child with a man, we are built to carry the child, but it is our CHOICE to have one.

fortunately for the human race, many women still find a small seed of hope in bringing forth more children to keep the race going.  we find that hope despite the people who think it is our 'job' to do so.

and JB, it is not wrong to want to stay in the kitchen, but it IS wrong to expect all women to want that.  I do not consider it repression if a woman chooses to go out and work and be childless her entire life, I consider it a lifestyle and I support it with the exact same passion I have to support my own choice of life.

Wow, I wonder too, how did I miss this one?  I agree with you Kay, right on! Yes, we CAN have babies but it is our choice, plain and simple.

Christine, I'm going to have to take your glass away. It was diane that said that, not me!
