We Give Books is a free website that enables anyone with access to the Internet to put books in the hands of children who don't have them, simply by reading online. Simply choose the charity you want to read for and then select the books you want to read. For each book you read online, we donate a book to a leading literacy group on your behalf. The more you read, the more we give.

Please support this great organization's literacy campaign by reading a book (or more!) online with your kids and sharing this with other parents. You do need to sign up to do this, but it's all free. Consider it your very good deed for the coming year. :)

Read more on how it works.

Wow, that's great! Thanks so much for posting that. I will definitely read at least one of my New Years resolution books here.

Good! If we're going to be reading some anyway, might as well do a good turn at the same time. :) It's supported by The Penguin Group, so you know it's legitimate. I read You Can't Go to School Naked by Diane Billstrom and what a hoot it was! It's for ages 4-7.

If you want to support different campaigns rather than stick with one cause, you just need to go in and choose a new one in your settings. You can only pick one campaign at a time, so I'm changing mine as I go along.

Awesome! The kiddo is on a naked streak (pardon the expression) so I think I'll wait a bit for that book, LOL!
