If anyone is looking for a quiet retreat house, I found a great one in CT.  It has 2 bedrooms, a 10 acre pond, full kitchen, etc.  It's awesome! Let me know if anyone would like the info....

LOL, good! I'll keep that in mind. It sounds lovely. Have you been there yourself or do you know them?

We went there because she donated an ornament to us for a benefit.  It's gorgeous and very quiet.  I would stay in a heartbeat!

Don't tempt me. I bet that would be lovely for something special like an anniversary. Right now though my pennies wouldn't allow that.

It is.  Not like a Bed and Breakfast....would be more like staying at a friends house.  Very cozy!

I feel your penny pain, I couldn't afford it either.

When's the good weather in CT? I may try this next year sometime. I would so love just hubby and I to get away alone for a few days.

Noooo, I don't want lots of snow. I'm happy with ankle deep so it looks pretty and knee deep at the most. After that, I'm not a happy bunny LOL. :) So winter's out.
