I am making ribs in the crockpot for the first time today.  Can I just say I thought the bbq sauce went in there too...it doesn't but in this case it did.  My whole house smells great, I hope they're good!

Oh I did, my boyfriend and grandson are both quite the gentlement when it comes to compliments on cooking!  Why is I wonder, that I (and probably women in general) are so senstive to the family liking what they cook?  Sometimes I think on some level it is a sign of their affection and mine.....

I think it's because of the time it takes to prepare. I know I get hurt if I took a long time over something and barely get a grunt in response, or worse, a grimace. It's simply unappreciative.

That must be it.  They are so good about being gracious and grateful but every now and then the little guy makes a face...or lately, (lil Drama king) has been making this gagging, wretching sound when he eats something he doesn't want..lol.

LOL, makes me think of the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon where he's scowling over his dinner and it gets up and starts singing. That's funny! :)
