Hi Folks,
One of the few options that lets you see photos "full screen" is set up to position images pushed to the right rather than centered as either vertical or horizontal.  All photos are pushed to the right of the screen - sometimes cutting off content.  I hope you can fix the Flash code to make all photos center for maximum size of the full image.  I can't see any reason why there is a bias to the right!..

That is strange. It should be centered automatically.

I will have someone look at this.

A test was ran. The pictures appear to be centered. Please make sure you downloaded the latest flash from Adobe.com.

Also. What browser and operating system are you using?

Thanks for running a test.  I am using XP Home with Firefox and downloaded the latest Flash plug-in.  However, the SlideShow option continues to favor the right side in the full-screen option.  I centered my monitor screen (which is a wide-screen, by the way) and used a test pattern to center it.

To make sure this wasn't something unique to my desktop I found the same right side bias on my laptop with XP Home and Firefox as well as Internet Explorer.  By right bias I mean the whole Flash window including the caption and buttons are off center to the right even after I center the screen raster.

The wide screen might be an issue. We will try to run a test on one. Thank you for including so much detail in the solution.

Hi Support:
I did a Google search on key words - flash "full screen" off center - and found several results that describe the same problem I presented to you.

This description of a problem appears on an Adobe Flash Player Bug page:

"message which appears when a Flash file is rendered in full screen mode is currently not properly centred on the stage and appears slightly (100 pixels or so) to the right, which throws off designs that are centred and looks quite ugly. Could someone please make sure this message is properly aligned for Flash Player 10"?

Many Flash designers have talked about this result when viewers use different screen resolutions.  I use 1280 x768.  Could you see if you get the symptoms as that screen resolution.

Well, it looks like Flash doesn't adjust its reading of what the screen center is for a user's monitor when it displays a full screen request.  At 800x600 resolution the full screen is centered even though a very wide image may go off screen.  But as you start to increase the resolution of your monitor screen the Full Screen option the center starts to move right.  So I guess it's up to FLASH to come up with some way of read the resolution of a monitor screen to determine the pixels that represent the center before it displays a full screen.  Would you read it that way?
