Today I have shorts on, would you believe. It's sunny and warm and makes me think of what to have to eat that's lighter and fresher yet still filling. The men in my house don't consider salad alone a meal lol. Any nice ideas? I have a hankering for fish actually for a change.

That's funny Kay, I was just going through the same thing. We went out and usually have drinks and chicken wings but today, it wasn't really warm, but warmer, and I wanted like fruit. Very funny. It's supposed to be 60 here in New England tomorrow and I think my body is already making the change. As for receipes, I grill everything when it's warm. I like grilled shrimp, grilled chicken or kabobs. You can get away kabobing anything and still get to use fun veggies. If you think of anything else keep me in the loop...I'm so ready foe the sunnier days!

It got up to 80 here. Incredible considering how bad it was just a month ago with the ice storm, isn't it? What do you do with the kabobs, Christine, do you make a sauce to baste them with? I love grilled vegetables like mushrooms and peppers. I thought about grilling too that day but when I looked I didn't have enough charcoal. I forgot we'd done it a few times when we had no power.

Yum, that sounds so good. I do chicken breasts cut really thin for fajitas in a similar way. I marinade them in Italian dressing as long as possible before frying them up. I need to try your version now! :) Thanks. I bet the lime or lemon would be good too.

Any idea how long to cook salmon on the grill? I'd like to try that but don't want to make a mess of it. Steaks probably rather than whole.
