Anyone doing anything special this year? My hubby's working so we'll not be having ours until his days off a few days later. No guests as of yet, but that's not to say we won't have by the time it rolls around. Quiet would suit me fine. :)

We'll be going up to "da huntin' camp" wit da guys.  It's deer season here in da U.P. so we can't pull da guys away from da camp dis time o' da year.

Mom's cooking so we just have to show up and fill our faces.

Ohhh I'm so jealous! I miss my Mum's cooking. In fact I just miss my mum terribly right now. I'm struggling with keeping my chin up already this holiday season because it's their Golden Wedding anniversary next month and all the family's going out for a special dinner in a local hotel, then Christmas, then Mum's 70th in Jan. Sometimes it's really hard being thousands of miles away even though we phone.
