I watched The Brandon Teena Story on Hulu last night. It's a documentary about the girl that Boys Don't Cry was based upon. The prejudice and lack of feeling for that transgendered girl displayed in this by many parties involved takes your breath away. Very sad but riveting too. It's been around a long time (1998) but don't let that put you off watching it. It won two best documentary awards at film festivals.
