so I turned 40 and I swear everything fell apart. I have a swollen face and awful jaw pain now. I am off to the dentist and fear its TMJ. Does anyone have that?

What the heck is TMJ? You've been through the wars recently, Christine.

Ugh, don't I know this. TMJ is caused from stress, it happens when you clench or grind your teeth at night I guess. It causes spasms in your jaw and hurts so bad you can't bite down at all. I thought I was going to die! I also thought for sure I needed a root canal, been on muscle relaxers ever since.

That sounds unpleasant indeed. How are the muscle relaxers working out for you?

They worked. It took about 2 days or so and they've been ok since. Just stinks that I have another stress induced illness....when will I learn?
