Hello, normally hushpuppies are served along with a seafood dinner. You have you fish, shrimp, fries salad and hushpuppies. It really makes the meal because of the breading inside of it.

Ah right! Thank you Kash. My husband shopped and brought shrimp home and he must have got them at the same time. He obviously knew what to do with them even if I didn't LOL. I think he made them before, come to think on it.
Chris, I found a recipe for them. Once I saw it was cornbread based, I knew what they were. :)

We were at the beach yesterday and clam fritters were flying off the shelf! I'm not a huge clam girl but MAN Oh Man did they smell good!
Nothing says summer in New England like clam fritters! Oh wait, it's only April, just feels like summer!!!!

Never had clam fritters nor heard of them. Which is surprising because we like to load ourselves up with fried foods in these parts LOL. I bet I'd love them, I love seafood.

They're YUMMY! They look sort of like a crab cake, but made with clam. I wish I could send some your way...I bet you would really like them.

Looks great!!!! I can't believe how easy they are. Let me know how they turn out. They would be a great fun food to bring to a party!
